Microsoftは米国時間3月23日、Windows 10の大きな特徴であるユニバーサルアプリを開発できるWindows 10 Technical Preview向けVisual Studioツール「Windows 10 Technical Preview tools」を公開しました。
Microsoft、「Windows 10 Technical Preview tools」を公開
Windows 10向けユニバーサルアプリ（Windows Universal App）は従来のパソコンやタブレット、スマートフォン、XBoxのほか、将来的にはIoTまでサポートする予定となっています。
Windows 10向けユニバーサルアプリは単一プロジェクトで開発できるようになっており、言語はC#／VB／C++／JavaScriptから選択可能、コンパイルは.NET Nativeを利用することで小さいメモリで高速起動を実現するとしています。
Windows 10 Technical Preview toolsのインストール
開発ツール「Windows 10 Technical Preview tools」を利用するためには次の準備が必要となっています。
- 「Windows Insider Program」へサインアップ
- Windows 10 Tchnical Previewをインストール
- Windows Updateを行い最新アップデートを適用
- 「Visual Studio 2015 CTP6」をダウンロード、インストールします。古いバージョンは要アンインストール
- 「Tools for Windows 10 Technical Preview」のインストール
